I Think We Need to Talk

As a society, we limit our ability to develop intimate relationships through the overuse and abuse of technology. Technology prevents verbal and physical interaction from impacting our lives. It masks our body language and intonation, and instead lets only bland monotonic interactions occur.

  1. I think that the text presented with the picture really helps to enhance the message. The line the wall makes helps to focus the viewer's attention and heighten the feeling of discomfort by making the viewer feel they are intruding on an already awkward conversation.

  2. I really like this photo and how it was described. Technology has become first priority to communicate and how this photo was displayed you cannot get a true connection with a person just through the phone. I like how the photo was distant from the person and you couldn't see his face because to me that represented the relationship you form if it is over technology.
